An experience aligned with ECOVALL
This activity forms part of the Ecovall project, a Vall de Núria initiative aimed at improving the resort’s ability to adapt to climate change and developing new strategies for the conservation and sustainability of its infrastructure.
Its main lines of action include:
- Reducing emissions and investing in renewable energy.
- Gradually replacing combustion vehicles with electric ones.
- Using geothermal energy and building a mini hydroelectric power plant to eliminate diesel and conventional heating.
- Access to Vall de Núria exclusively by rack railway.
