International recognition
Vall de Núria has consolidated its prestige as a quality mountain destination, thanks to its commitment to sustainability, natural heritage and its unique character. Its protected environment within the Capçaleres del Ter i del Freser Natural Park, together with the responsible management of the territory (Ecovall), reinforce its international image as a destination committed to the environment.
In addition, its exclusive access by rack railway and its status as a valley free from light pollution make it a benchmark in sustainable and high-altitude tourism.
A privileged environment in the Pyrenees
Vall de Núria is part of the Capçaleres del Ter i del Freser Natural Park, which extends to the upper valleys of the Ter and Freser, around the enclaves of Nuria and Ulldeter, bordering the Regional Natural Park of the Catalan Pyrenees. A protected area that occupies 14,750 hectares, distributed between the municipalities of Planoles, Queralbs, Ribes de Freser, Pardines, Vilallonga de Ter, Setcases and Molló, all in Ripollés.
Tourism in the territory
It is part of the Vall de Ribes, a territory full of villages with their own identity. All of them are an ideal destination to enjoy nature, hiking or discovering the essence of the valley through bicycle routes.
An ideal environment to disconnect, discover new paths and extend the experience beyond the Núria Valley. Explore the wide range of proposals that are hidden there: its tourist offer, its local trade and above all its gastronomy. The restaurants in the valley offer typical dishes of the high mountains, where the clear protagonists are the cold cuts, cheeses, honey, stews or pastries.
