This weekend, June 26–28, the Vall de Boí will become the epicenter of mountain sports with the Garmin Mountain Festival. It is considered the highest-ranked mountain festival in Southern Europe, combining elite competition, nature, and family-friendly activities.

More than just trail running: a festival of experiences
The event offers a full program in which sports take center stage, but they aren’t the only focus:
- Top-level races: highlights include the Garmin Epic Trail Marathon (42 km and 2,800 m of elevation gain), the Sky (24 km), and the Speed (12 km).
- Nordic walking: includes the Marcha del Salencar, which counts toward the Catalan Cup.
- Activities for everyone: Over the course of three days, visitors can enjoy mountain films in the village area, outdoor yoga, orienteering workshops, and guided adventure activities.
- Families: The little ones have their own race with the Garmin Epic Trail Family.
Boí Taüll: A Gradual Reopening Toward a Full Summer Season
The station began operations on June 20 to welcome hiking and heritage enthusiasts to the Alta Ribagorça region. However, please note that the full range of offerings will be available over the coming weeks:
- Active attractions: You can now enjoy the six hiking trails and the unique setting recognized by UNESCO, as well as guided e-bike tours, the treasure hunt, the children’s electric motorcycle track, and the Starlight astronomical observatory.
- New Zip Line: On July 18, the one-kilometer-long double zip line will open, making it the longest in Catalonia.
- Vaques Chairlift: The chairlift offering panoramic views will begin operating on July 21.
