Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC TURISME) has unveiled its offerings for the new season at its mountain stations, establishing the PIRINEU365 model as a year-round, diversified program that supports the region throughout the year. With a total of 174 km of hiking and trail running routes, 74 sports and nature activities, 7 bike park circuits, 14 dining options, and the opening of 7 chairlifts for leisure rides, the Pyrenees are poised to become the epicenter of outdoor recreation.

Opening dates and key events
The stations will open gradually to provide a complete experience:
- La Molina: It opens on June 20 (open daily through September 6), even though this weekend (June 5–7) it will host the European Downhill Cup and the Spanish Cross-Country Championships.
- Vall de Núria: It remains open all year round.
- Boí Taüll: Open from June 20 to August 30.
- Vallter: The season will run from July 1 through August 30.

Key updates by season
This summer is packed with new releases designed for audiences of all ages, with a clear focus on sustainability and digital transformation:
- Boí Taüll: The new 1-kilometer zip line—the longest double zip line in Catalonia—is now open, and the Vacas chairlift has extended its hours and added a new panoramic observation deck.
- Vall de Núria: It unveils the new Mirador del Lago, an accessible space for contemplation, and reaffirms its commitment to Ecovall by completely eliminating diesel fuel through the use of geothermal energy.
- La Molina: It restores the cable car service up to an elevation of 2,537 meters, featuring the renovated Niu de l’Àliga mountain hut, and strengthens its commitment to cycling with the new Bike Park Kids.
- Vallter: The PiriTer365 exhibition and educational space and a new children’s mountain go-kart track are opening.
FlexiPass and the Turistren Passport: the digital key
Technology remains a cornerstone of our operations. FlexiPass is getting a summer makeover, offering direct access to the main ski lifts at the four resorts that will be open, with the best price guaranteed and all discounts accumulated over the winter still valid. At the same time, the new Turistren Passport encourages visitors to explore the region with discounts of up to 20% on the company’s tourist trains.

Astronomy and Heritage on Rails
The program is complemented by the Montsec Astronomical Park, which will lead solar eclipse viewings on August 12 at various locations throughout Catalonia and will debut the daytime experience “Mosaics of Light” in celebration of the Year of Gaudí, as well as the new “Yoga at the Observatory” experience.
Also, in celebration of the Year of Gaudí, the Tren del Ciment’s operating hours have been extended to allow visitors to tour the Artigas Gardens.
As Ferrocarrils President Carles Ruiz Novella has emphasized, this initiative exemplifies FGC’s commitment to making stations “places to enjoy 365 days a year,” ensuring a variety of activities where everyone can find something to suit their tastes.
