What does FGC Turisme's environmental policy consist of?
FGC Turisme has a single policy shared by all its business units. This commitment reinforces our responsible management of the natural environment, based on the preservation, conservation, and improvement of the environment, service quality, customer service, and safety, guaranteeing sustainability and the satisfaction of our stakeholders.
Decarbonization of the Montsec Astronomical Park
In 2024, the Montsec Astronomical Park commissioned a new aerothermal system for producing hot water for heating, thus achieving the complete decarbonization of its operations. This system is powered by 100% green energy, in line with FGC’s environmental commitment and its 2030 Climate Action Plan.
The water cycle
FGC Turisme’s snow management system is based on a closed water cycle, fed by natural lakes that collect rainwater and snowmelt from the surrounding area. This model makes the resorts an example of a circular economy and water efficiency, reducing environmental impact and ensuring the sustainability of the resource.
FGC Turisme Climate Action Plan 2030
In line with the Glasgow Declaration of COP26, FGC Turisme has developed its 2030 Climate Action Plan, structured around five strategic pillars: measure, decarbonize, regenerate, collaborate, and finance.
The goal: to achieve climate neutrality and promote a more resilient and sustainable tourism model.
