With 50 years of history as a ski resort, Vallter is located within a glacial cirque (Morens-Ull de Ter cirque), in the easternmost part of the Pyrenees, in the Ripollès region and within the municipality of Setcases, surrounded by peaks exceeding 2,800 meters in altitude and with the base at over 2,000 meters. Its privileged location offers unique views of the Mediterranean Sea, combining nature, sports, and tranquility in a family-friendly and welcoming setting.

Activities for everyone
In winter, Vallter offers downhill skiing, snowboarding, a toboggan run, and activities such as snowshoeing, snowcat rides, and fine dining.
During the summer, the resort becomes a starting point for hiking trails and activities such as visiting the source of the Ter River, a mountain pass for cyclists, and the gateway to the Cabeceras del Ter y del Freser Natural Park, offering family-friendly and educational activities.

Due to its strategic location and altitude, Vallter is known as the “Balcony of the Mediterranean”, offering spectacular panoramic views from Les Marmotes Brasserie (2,535 m).

Surroundings and location
The station is surrounded by the Circ de Morens, within the Cabeceras del Ter y del Freser Natural Park, just a few kilometers from Setcases.
It offers easy road access, ample parking, and all the amenities you need for a complete experience.
The road connecting Setcases to Vallter is considered by road cyclists to be one of the most challenging mountain passes, with a 12-kilometer stretch featuring gradients of nearly 15%, and has served as the finish line for stages of races such as the Tour of Catalonia and the Vuelta a España.
