Summer in the mountain sets the perfect scene for hiking with the family. And the area of Boí Taüll, for instance, could not be more ideal for practising this activity, since it is home to trails with difficulty levels for everyone.

Visitors should wear suitable footwear and clothes for practising mountain activities. Weather changes can occur in a very short period of time, so always check meteorological conditions in advance. It is everyone’s responsibility to be aware of the eventualities which could arise during the trip and be prepared.

The trails which can be hiked in Boí Taüll are suitable for children and adults, with low-medium-high difficulty.

Wildlife Observation – “Where are the Marmots?”

Guided tour 1/2 day
A short tour to observe marmots in their natural habitat. We will enjoy a spectacular landscape of high mountain meadows and views of the highest peaks of the Pyrenees. During the tour there will be stops to observe this friendly animal with the help of observation equipment. With the help of a guide you will experience the thrill of discovering a marmot among large boulders, accurately identifying the places where they usually stay, recognizing their alarm whistles and using binoculars correctly, among other things!

Ascent to the peak of Pala de Ginebrell (2,310 m) 

Level: Medium 

Simple ascent with superb views over the valley of Boí. A short, undemanding hike which captivates everyone. Arrival to the peak of Pala de Ginebrell with panoramic views of the highest summits in the valley of Boí and beyond. Particularly striking is the view of the mountains surrounding the precious town of Durro.  Return along the same trail or descend via the slope of BoarderCross, Tobogán and Basseta (circular route).

Ascent to Cervi de Durro peak (2,650 m) 

Level: medium/high 

 A great climb to a great summit. Path shared with the previous itinerary, beyond which the route starts to deliver us more aerial sensations, characteristic of high-level alpinism, with all the assurance of walking along a safe trail. Astounding views over the Pyrenees and the rest of the area due to its height and location.

Ascent to Cap de les Raspes Roies (Puigfalcó) (2,751 m) 

Level: high 

 Ceiling of the skiable domains in the Pyrenees, the summit of Les Raspes Roies is a mythical spot in the world of winter sports. An exceptional viewpoint for its height and location in the south of the Pyrenean axial line, it allows us to see for many hundreds of kilometres around it. A comfortable but demanding ascent which will show us an unforgettable landscape of infinite grandeur which rewards us with the essence of the wildest Pyrenees. We begin the itinerary at the base of the resort to quickly immerse ourselves in the ravine of Coll Birrós and gain elevation rapidly but incrementally.
