For mountain enthusiasts, snowshoeing is a great alternative to skiing or snowboarding and allows you to enjoy the surroundings in a different way.
We will start the outing by taking the Roca chairlift at Espot Ski up to the 2,000-meter level. From there, we will begin a beautiful hike of approximately 2 hours to the Creu de l’Eixol at around 2,220 meters. At this point, we will find the new viewpoint of the Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park, from where we can enjoy one of the best views of the Pyrenees and spot iconic mountains such as Pica d’Estats, Monteixo, or Salòria, among others.
This sporting activity allows us to safely enjoy the surroundings thanks to the support and technical guidance of the interpretive guide, with the goal of turning this snowshoeing outing into a unique experience.
Snowshoes prevent us from sinking into the snow and allow us to continue walking according to each person’s stamina.
This is an activity that can be enjoyed as a family with a minimum age of 10 years. For children younger than this age, please consult beforehand.
Required material: waterproof clothing, sunglasses, sunscreen, and hiking boots.
Minimum age: 10 years.
Price per person: €30.00. Includes: snowshoes, poles, insurance, accompanying guide, and the lift pass to access the Roca chairlift (1 ascent + 1 descent).
