Commitment to accessibility
The FGC website is designed to facilitate universal access for all users, regardless of their physical, sensory, or intellectual abilities, as well as the technical context of their use (type of device, software, connection speed, environmental conditions, etc.).
Therefore, efforts are underway to adapt the entire website to the recommendations of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) to eliminate all barriers that hinder access to information and communication. These recommendations are embodied in the WCAG 2.0 web accessibility guidelines. The WCAG 2.0 guidelines are referenced in the UNE 139803:2012 standard, which updates and replaces the previous 2004 standard, WCAG 1.0.
The commitment of Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya is to achieve compliance with the “Double-A” (AA) level of conformity required of public administrations by European, Spanish (Royal Decree 1494/2007, of November 12) and Catalan (Law 13/2014, of October 30, on accessibility) legislation.
