Immerse yourself in nature with the Snowshoe Circuit for Discovering the Fauna of La Molina, an experience designed for you to enjoy the mountain while learning about the animals that inhabit the Pyrenees. This circular route combines sport, learning, and fun, making it the perfect plan for families, groups of friends, or any nature lover.
The itinerary starts from the cable car parking lot and has 18 marked stops. At each one, you will discover a characteristic species of the environment: illustrations, footprints, informative panels, and curiosities will accompany you every step of the way. Additionally, each point includes a “Did you know…?” section with fascinating data about the behavior, biology, or legends of each animal.
During the winter, you can complete the route with snowshoes, enjoying a gentle and accessible walk for all audiences, while observing the fauna and breathing the pure mountain air.
Before starting the adventure, stop by La Molina’s central offices, where you can get the circuit map. This map includes the Explorer Title, which you can stamp at each stop. If you complete the entire route, you will receive an accrediting diploma, a unique souvenir of your experience as an explorer of the Pyrenean fauna.
Among the protagonists of the circuit, you will find the deer, the red fox, the chamois, the marmot, the wild boar, and the eagle owl, along with a special panel dedicated to the most emblematic birds, such as the bearded vulture or the golden eagle.
